How to compare peptide prices per mg
Price per mg is a way to normalize different package sizes. It uses the listed package price and the labeled total milligrams. It does not compare product quality, safety, or the cost of any intended use.
The calculation
First, find the total labeled milligrams in the package. For a single 10 mg vial, that is 10 mg. For ten 10 mg vials, that is 100 mg. Then divide the listed package price by that total. A $200 package containing 100 mg is listed at $2 per mg.
Common comparison mistakes
- Using the milligrams on one vial when the row is a multi-vial kit.
- Comparing the price of one product package against the price per mg of another.
- Assuming a lower price per mg establishes that two listings are equivalent.
- Ignoring fees, promotions, shipping, or a changed vendor page.
